Elements of Chemistry

The course "Elements of Chemistry" is a basic course that covers the fundamental concepts of chemistry. It is intended for first-year engineering students at Mohamed Khider University in Biskra, Algeria. It covers topics such as the definition of matter, the different states of matter, the classification of matter into pure substances and mixtures, as well as the concepts of atom, molecule, mole, and Avogadro's number. It also discusses chemical reactions, the electronic structure of the atom, and radioactivity. The course includes exercises to reinforce the taught concept
