Course Description (Physics–Biophysics)

The Physics–Biophysics course explores the fundamental laws of physics and their applications to biological systems and the human body. It provides an integrated understanding of key concepts in mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, optics, and wave phenomena, showing how these principles underlie essential physiological functions. Through this course, students learn how physical processes explain vital mechanisms such as blood circulation, respiration, neural transmission, and vision, bridging the gap between physics and life sciences.

During the first semester, we cover two chapters:
Chapter 1: Biophysics of Solutions and Medical Applications
Chapter 2: Electricity and Bioelectricity and Their Applications in the Medical Field
