  • Technical English is pivotal in the realms of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy for second year licence, . As students progress into their second year licence , they delve deeper into electrical systems and renewable energy technologies, heightening the necessity for precise and clear communication. Proficiency in technical English enables comprehension and articulation of complex ideas, facilitates collaboration with peers and professionals, and ensures clarity in communicating findings and designs.  Ultimately, mastering technical English is not merely a linguistic skill but a crucial tool for academic excellence, effective professional collaboration, and meaningful contributions to these dynamic fields.

  •     The Technical English course aims to:

    1. Know vocabulary and specialized terms specific to electrical engineering and renewable energies.
    2. Define the use of technologies such as calculators, spreadsheets, mathematical software, and data visualization tools.
    3. Explain technical concepts in one's own words.
    4. Apply grammatical rules correctly in technical writing.
    5. Examine the technical instructions by following them accurately.
    6. Construct key concepts from technical text or conferences
    7. Evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies and the features and structure of a scientific text.

  •    For the student to easily understand this course, they must be familiar with:

    • Self-confidence 
    • Basic language proficiency
    •  Ability to read and comprehend

               

  • This test includes three exercises for 2nd year license electrical engineering and renewable energy students

    The indicative duration of the test is 2 minutes for each question, you will grade yourself according to the maximum mark indicated, taking into account any possible scale indications

        If the score is insufficient, you should follow the folowing tips and try to check the link below and read some to complete the course:

    • Ability to form simple and coherent sentences
    •  Understanding of simple written instructions 
    • Ability to read simple texts and extract the main meaning

  • The English program includes the following main parts. Example texts are used to familiarize students with scientific and technical English as well as for the acquisition of scientific and technical vocabulary and grammar.

  • This part explain the math symbols, numbers and equations. next we give the seven fundamental units

  • This test contain four questions for 2nd year license electrical engineering and renewable energy students. The indicative duration of the test is 15 minutes, please check the time it takes you to answer the questions.

    You recommend that you write down your answers to the questions and then compare your answers with those given to you for each question. You will grade yourself according to the maximum grade indicated, taking into account any possible scale indications
