This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of educational measurement and the construction of school-based tests. It examines the historical development of measurement and evaluation in education, explores the major domains and applications of educational measurement, and provides students with practical tools for assessing students' academic achievement. Particular emphasis is placed on fundamental concepts such as validity, reliability, interpretation of test scores, and item analysis, as well as their application in the development and evaluation of educational tests. By the end of the course, students will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in test construction, administration, scoring, interpretation, and evaluation.
