Modelization and Simulation 2 is a continuation of Modelization and Simulation 1, extending the students’ computational design skills from geometric modeling to environmental performance evaluation. While the first semester focused on architectural and urban form generation using Rhino and Grasshopper, the second semester introduces students to environmental design and simulation as an integral part of the design process.
The course familiarizes students with ClimateStudio (Solemma) as a professional tool for simulating and evaluating building performance under real climatic conditions. Emphasis is placed on understanding the relationship between geometry, materials, climate data, and environmental comfort rather than on software operation alone.
