It enables students to acquire the basic formalisms of chemistry, particularly those related to the structure of the atom, energy quantization, chemical elements, the periodic table, and chemical bonding.
The course covers the states of matter, atoms and molecules, the mole concept, and conservation laws, followed by atomic models, isotopes, mass spectrometry, and nuclear stability. It also addresses radioactivity, the electronic structure of atoms, the periodic classification of elements, and the principles of chemical bonding. Through this content, students develop a solid foundation in chemistry and enhance their ability to analyze and solve chemical problems.
