This surveying course is designed for third-year students in the Professional Bachelor's Degree program (Semester 5), specializing in Construction Project Management and Operational Project Management. Its general objective is to acquire the fundamental knowledge necessary to lay out structures and create topographic plans.

The course is divided into ten chapters. It provides students with the theoretical knowledge to review basic concepts: general principles of topography, the Earth's shape and dimensions, planar representation systems, and geodetic and altimetric networks. It also covers leveling and measurement techniques and their applications to road construction and building construction.

It also addresses various fields closely related to surveying, including the use of surveying field tools (levels, theodolites, total stations, GPS, etc.). This allows students to better understand the role and importance of topographic operations, resources, and documents, as well as the various processes leading to planimetric, altimetric, and tachymetric surveys of an urban and/or agricultural area.
