
The Urban Design course introduces students to the principles, methods, and contemporary challenges of designing urban spaces. Positioned at the crossroads between architecture, urban planning, and landscape design, it explores how built form, public space, and human activity interact to create livable, sustainable, and culturally expressive cities. The overall aim of the semester is to understand how urban form influences social life, mobility, environment, and identity, while developing the ability to analyze, represent, and design high-quality public spaces.
