Enrolment options

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of educational measurement and the construction of school-based tests. It examines the historical development of measurement and evaluation in education, explores the different domains of educational measurement, and provides students with practical tools for assessing academic achievement. Special emphasis is placed on concepts of validity, reliability, and the essential role of measurement in the success of the teaching–learning process. By the end of the course, students will acquire both theoretical knowledge and applied skills in test construction and evaluation.
