It allows the Understanding food security as the condition and differentiating related concepts such as food availability, accessibility, utilization, and stability. Also, it explores malnutrition and its relationship with food security and livelihoods. It points out the dimensions and Challenges of Food Security by examining the four dimensions of food security: availability, access, utilization, and stability and addressing issues like poverty, hunger, malnutrition, and types of food insecurity. It highlights the impact of climate change, environmental factors, and socio-economic conditions on food security. The measurement of food security using indicators was detailed and so the state of food security in the world and Algeria. It deals with linking food security with nutrition, health, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and presents the most important ways to maintain food safety and hygiene
