The objective of the Mathematics 2 module for first-year engineering students in Agricultural Sciences is to strengthen students’ mathematical foundation and develop their analytical skills for scientific applications in agriculture. This module focuses on key topics such as multivariable functions, matrices, differential equations, and integral calculus. It aims to provide students with quantitative tools necessary for modeling biological systems, analyzing agricultural data, optimizing production processes, and solving engineering problems related to soil, water, crops, and environmental systems. By mastering these mathematical concepts, students will be better prepared to apply scientific methods in their future agricultural engineering studies and professional practice.

Histology
A tissue is a collection of cells, usually identical, that perform a series of specific functions. Histology is the study of tissues making up the organs of the body. The body includes more than 25 varieties of tissues that are classified into four main types: (epithelia, connective tissues, muscular tissues and nervous tissue).
Embryology , from the word embrun=living being in the process of development and logos=science or study. It is a branch of biology which is concerned with the description and study of the development of an organism from the egg stage to the adult stage, the terms, development and ontogeny are often used synonymously with embryology.

This course provides an overview of agriculture as a complex and applied system.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to understand agricultural sciences as applied sciences, differentiate between the various agricultural disciplines and their interconnections, and distinguish among different agricultural systems and practices. Students will also be introduced to new technologies applied in agriculture and will be able to apply the knowledge acquired to support and assist both subsistence and commercial farmers in developing sustainable and profitable agricultural systems.

Organic Chemistry (Chemistry 2)
This course aims to provide students with the fundamental concepts of organic chemistry through the study of major classes of functional groups and organic nomenclature. It introduces the physicochemical properties of organic molecules and explains the electronic effects that govern their behavior.
The course also focuses on the three-dimensional structures of organic molecules and presents the main reaction mechanisms involved in organic chemistry. Emphasis is placed on understanding structure–property relationships and the systematic naming of organic compounds.
