welcome to 1st year of materials science, i have pleasure in offering to you this module of English language which will be moved or changed to scientific English in the next years. from the middle school till today you have studied the basics English language,but English for material science, it based on the four skills listening, speaking, reading,and writing. English for materials science is different from the English taught at secondary school.it provides the basic tools for every student of materials science to enlarge her/ his knowledge of grammar,phonetics(pronunciation),and scientific terms (vocabulary)

L'objectif de ce module est d'apprendre les notions de base sur l’informatique et comprendre le concept d’algorithme et apprendre les méthodes de sa construction (Algorithmique). Il comprend:

1. Bref historique de l’évolution de l’informatique
2. Architecture du PC : Les différents composants matériels du PC
3. Principe de fonctionnement d’un ordinateur
4. Introduction aux systèmes d’exploitation
5. Introduction aux réseaux : réseau local, Internet et Web
Introduction à l’Algorithmique
1. Notion d’algorithmique : définition, syntaxe, structure d’un algorithme, notion de variables, de types de données et d’affectation.
2. Instructions d’entrée et de sortie
3. Structures de contrôle :
- Structures conditionnelles: alternatives, choix multiples
- Structures itératives: Boucles
4. Les tableaux : vecteurs et Matrices
5. Notion de modularité : fonction et procédure
6. Élaboration d’un algorithme complet: Processus de résolution d’un problème quelconque.
7. Applications : Calculs de sommes et de produits, application aux calculs des matrices
