This course is primarily designed for second-year students in the common core program of Engineering Science and Technology (ST). It aligns with the official curriculum for the subject "Signal Theory," taught in the second year of Science and Technology studies. The first part of the course focuses on the different categories of signals, as well as the concepts of signal energy and power. It also covers the analysis of continuous-time signals, with an emphasis on the Fourier transform and the Laplace transform. The second part is mainly dedicated to the study of discrete signals, including topics such as sampling and the discrete Fourier transform.
