University Ethics and Deontology represent essential pillars that guide moral and professional behavior within academic institutions. These principles aim to promote integrity, responsibility, and respect for ethical standards in all aspects of university life. University ethics address a wide range of issues, including the conduct of researchers, teachers, and students, as well as resource management and transparency in the publication and communication of research results. By fostering an environment of trust and respect, these core values contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the quality of teaching and research.

First-year cell biology introduces the cell as the basic unit of life and shows how structure supports function. You compare prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and study organelles like the nucleus, mitochondria, and endoplasmic reticulum. Key topics include membrane transport, energy production (respiration and photosynthesis), and DNA replication and gene expression. You also cover the cell cycle, mitosis and meiosis, and how cells communicate. Labs typically involve microscopy and basic techniques, building a foundation for genetics, biochemistry, and physiology.

Mathematics and statistics are important for biology students because they provide the tools to analyze data, build models, and conduct research. These subjects are crucial for understanding biological concepts quantitatively, whether it's tracking population changes, analyzing genetic data, or understanding rates of chemical reactions

This course introduces students to essential strategies for effective communication and self-expression , emphasis is placed on developing oral and written skills . Students will learn techniques to improve clarity, coherence, and persuasion in academic and professional contexts.  By the end, participants will be able to confidently articulate ideas, structure arguments, and engage in meaningful ways.

Biochemistry is the branch of science that explores the chemical processes and substances that occur within living organisms
