Reading Module

This course provides a clear and practical introduction to the various parts of speech-the essential foundation of English grammar. Students will learn the different types of nouns, pronouns, verbs (tenses), adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections and the way they function and interact to form effective sentences. Through engaging lessons, examples, and exercises, learners will develop a strong understanding of grammatical structures and improve both their writing and speaking skills.

STUDY SKILLS

The Study Skills course aims to provide students with insights into the university experience and gives learners several useful tips to help them settle into the new rhythms of university life and learning to show them how to manage their studies at university efficiently. It attempts, therefore, to help freshmen gain and develop the necessary skills, attributes, and knowledge that will enable them to successfully manage their studies.

Civilisation of the Language/ British Civ S.1

The course provides students with a thematic overview of English history, from the origins of the English/ British people to the 17th Century. The course emphasizes the milestones and critical periods that shaped English society.
