Preliminary work, particularly earthworks, consists of preparing the land for a building construction project. This type of work is a prerequisite for the construction of a project or the reinforcement of an existing building.
Earthworks include excavating the ground and digging in the right place to lay the foundations for the future building. Once this has been done, backfilling is required to fill in the soil and level it out.
