This course aims to familiarize students with academic and technical English, focusing on essential vocabulary in mathematics and computer science. It seeks to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills to help students understand scientific documents, communicate effectively, and write simple technical texts in English.

This course is intended for 1st-year students of Licence Mathematics. The course aims to provide the basic concepts of mathematical analysis, such as:
- Properties of the real and the complex number sets.
- Notions on numerical sequences, particularly the different theorems that allow us to analyze the convergence of a numerical sequence.
- Notions on the continuity and derivability of real functions.
- A first introduction to function approximation using the Taylor series method.
