This course is intended for 1st-year students of Licence Mathematics.  The course aims to provide the basic concepts of mathematics analysis, such as:

  • Properties of the real and the complex numbers sets.
  • Notions on numerical sequences, particularly the different theorems that allow us to analyze the convergence of a numerical sequence.
  • Notions on the continuity and derivability of real functions.
  • A first introduction to function approximation using the Taylor series method.
