Course Description (Physics–Biophysics)
The Physics–Biophysics course explores the fundamental laws of physics and their applications to biological systems and the human body. It provides an integrated understanding of key concepts in mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, optics, and wave phenomena, showing how these principles underlie essential physiological functions. Through this course, students learn how physical processes explain vital mechanisms such as blood circulation, respiration, neural transmission, and vision, bridging the gap between physics and life sciences.
During the first semester, we cover two chapters:
Chapter 1: Biophysics of Solutions and Medical Applications
Chapter 2: Electricity and Bioelectricity and Their Applications in the Medical Field

This embryology module introduces the fundamental basics of human development, from fertilization to organ formation. It covers the major stages of embryonic development: gamete formation, cleavage, gastrulation, and the beginning of organogenesis. The aim is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge needed to understand both normal development and congenital anomalies. This module is indispensable for a full understanding of the biological foundations of developmental pathologies.

chemistry, the science that deals with the properties, composition , and structure of substances (defined as elements and compounds), the transformations they undergo, and the energy. that is released or absorbed during these processes. Every substance, whether naturally occurring or artificially produced, consists of one or more of the hundred-odd species of atoms that have been identified as elements.
