LANGUE ETRANGERE 1

This course has been designed for students on the Construction Project Management (CPM) programme. It provides a solid foundation in key mathematical concepts. Topics covered include analytic geometry in the plane and space, trigonometric functions, algebra and matrices.

Comprendre les concepts relatifs à la gestion ;
Appliquer les connaissances dans le contexte d’un projet de construction.

General Objective of the Course:
This course aims to provide detailed information on various construction materials to enable students to make informed choices based on their properties, in terms of consistency, safety, durability, and cost. Additionally, it seeks to raise awareness of the diversity of materials and their use in building construction.

Chapter 1: Overview and Properties of Construction Materials

Chapter 2: Aggregates

Chapter 3: Aerial Binders and Hydraulic Binders

Chapter 4: Mortars

Chapter 5: Concrete

Chapter 6: Fired Clay Products

Chapter 7: Wood

Chapter 8: Contemporary Architecture Materials

Metal

• Glass

  • The main objective of the current subject is to develop the student's imagination skills.
  • In this subject, the three-dimensional object is first presented through its two projections (horizontal and frontal) in the form of a geometric drawing. Then, by its axonometric image in space.

This module, "History of Civilisations and Construction 1", is intended for first-year Construction Project Management students. It aims to immerse students in architectural culture through knowledge of the evolution of architecture, its institutions, its key figures, and its logic. This will enable them to differentiate between architectural styles and acquire specific vocabulary related to construction.
