African Americans in US History and Society

Master 1 - Option Literature and Civilization: American Civilization. The course is an introduction to what we commonly call African American Studies. It looks into the African Americans' historical experience in US society. It emphasizes African Americans' quest and struggle for freedom, justice, and equal rights in a society that was initially built and dominated by a white Anglo-Saxon culture and worldview.
