ESP is a one semester course for Second year Master’s students of English. It aims to deepen students’ understanding of English for specific purposes as a trend within English Language Teaching (ELT). The course focuses on expanding students’ knowledge on the major issues related to the field of ESP especially needs analysis, course design, teaching skills and assessment. It is a theoretical and conceptual lecture which is based on readings from different references. The course targets themes of interest for students who desire to conduct research in ESP.
