In this course I try to select and to provide
a minimum of mathematical and scientific terms and their abbreviations In
addition to the Common pronunciations (in British English) of the most
mathematical and scientific symbols are given.
The course aims at developing students’ language skills in an English
context of mathematics and science with emphasis on reading, and writing of
mathematical and scientific symbols.
