Dear students,

As we embark on our journey through this Master's program, I want to emphasize the importance of the resources we'll be utilizing throughout our studies, particularly focusing on the ESP module, which revolves around logistics and supply chain management.

Our  invaluable resources that I want to draw your attention to is these two books titled :‘Supply Chain and Logistics in National, International and Governmental Environment: Concepts and Models edited by : Reza Zanjirani Farahani • Nasrin Asgari Hoda Davarzani

’ and the second resource  ‘SUPPLY CHAIN RISK MANAGEMENT: Vulnerability and Resilience in Logistics edited by Donald Waters’

These books are not only highly regarded within the logistics and supply chain management field, but they are  also incredibly relevant to our studies. their comprehensive coverage and insightful analysis make them a cornerstones for understanding the intricacies of this domain.

Given the time constraints of our sessions - just an hour and a half per week - it becomes even more crucial to focus our attention on a these two  authoritative sources. By concentrating our efforts on these books, we can maximize our learning within the limited time frame. Moreover, this approach allows us to delve deeper into the material, fostering a thorough understanding of the subject matter.

Additionally, the repetitive exposure to technical terms and concepts within these books will aid in memory retention and recall. By encountering these terms consistently throughout our sessions, you'll find yourselves becoming increasingly familiar with them, facilitating seamless comprehension and application in real-world scenarios.

So, as we navigate the complexities of logistics and supply chain management, let's embrace the efficiency and effectiveness of utilizing  the mentioned books as our primary references. Together, we can make the most of our time and resources, ensuring a rich and rewarding learning experience.

Warm regards, your teacher Dr/Nacereddine Bouriche.
